The Narwhal males fight using their tusks like medieval knights with lances, some say ritually others say sometimes to the death. This piece represents this amazing scenario. Each Narwhal is about 6 inches long (excluding the horn) and, mounted on its polished burlwood base, stands about 7 inches tall and 14 inches long. It is molded of Pellucida, our proprietary resin compound that resembles Bisque porcelain but is more durable. The horn is detachable as they sometimes get broken, or amazingly frequently, get chewed by cats. It comes with a spare horn. PLEASE NOTE: these photos are of illustrative samples only.
